The Operative IQ team wrapped up another successful user conference, ENGAGE 2023. The Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia in Dunwoody, GA hosted over 200 attendees and sponsors from May 8th-10th.
Every 18 months, Operative IQ hosts ENGAGE, a user conference bringing clients from around the world to Atlanta for three days of training, panels, keynote sessions, and networking. Operative IQ users elect to attend ENGAGE to gain deeper knowledge on utilizing the system, to understand how Operative IQ can help their organization remain service ready, and to network with other users. Users of all skill levels are encouraged to attend. This year's conference featured a new session - Product Development Discussions. Attendees joined CEO EJ Aufderheide and the Product Development team to discuss recent advancements, plans for future updates, and could voice their ideas about the Operative IQ platform.
Attendees heard from leaders in the First Response industry about their experiences, tips, and tricks they use with Operative IQ. Speakers included: Kyle Wolber from Superior Ambulance; Nick Baker from Austin-Travis County EMS; Ken Ekenseair from Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services; Tim Sweat and Zach Botkin from Clayton County Fire Department; Jeff Voskamp, Alex Pierson, and Jeff Goodman from Reno Fire Department; Matt Neilson from St. Lucie County Fire District; Keil Baldia from Plano Fire-Rescue. The Keynote speaker was Jen Carfagno from The Weather Channel discussing weather awareness and how it relates to first responders.
During the welcome address, Operative IQ unveiled the future of RFID with RFID Smart Shelves, an innovative inventory solution. Attendees got a first-hand look at the shelves and their functionality, including the LED lights that can be programmed to turn certain colors to represent various events such as if an item on the shelf is set to expire.
